Our Vision
We already have good transit networks in most cities. Low cost enhancements can pay huge dividends in usability, increasing ridership and lowering the need for operating support:
- Safer and more attractive bus stops. Clearer locations and signage can lure people who would otherwise drive into riding the bus.
- Better schedule coordination.
- More frequent service. Improving service frequency can often lead to huge increases in usage.
- Integrated fare cards. Integrated fare cards make it simpler for riders to transfer between the different transit options such as commuter rail, mass transit rail, and buses.
- Better connections between routes and transit types.
- Signal priority and queue jumping for buses.
